What it is
UI UX Pro Max is an AI skill that gives coding assistants design intelligence for building UI/UX across platforms and frameworks. Its Design System Generator runs multi-domain searches over product types, styles, colors, landing patterns and typography, then applies a reasoning engine (BM25 ranking plus JSON decision rules). The output is a complete design system: pattern, style, colors, typography, effects, anti-patterns and a pre-delivery checklist. The repository is the open-source basic version; a premium version is described separately.
Who it's for
- Developers using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, etc.) who want guided UI/UX output
- Individual developers, hobbyists and teams building landing pages, dashboards, portfolios or mobile app UIs
- Developers working in web, desktop, iOS, Android or cross-platform stacks such as React, Vue, SwiftUI, Flutter and HTML + Tailwind
Requirements
Requirements
- Python 3.x for the search script (standard library only; no installs or network calls)
- Node/npm to install the CLI globally (ui-ux-pro-max-cli) if using the CLI method
- A supported AI assistant (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, Codex CLI)
- Trae users must switch to SOLO mode first
Setup
Install via Claude Marketplace (Claude Code)
Run these two commands in Claude Code.
bash/plugin marketplace add nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill /plugin install ui-ux-pro-max@ui-ux-pro-max-skillInstall via CLI (recommended)
Install the CLI globally, go to your project, and initialize for your AI assistant. The README lists many other --ai targets, including all.
bashnpm install -g ui-ux-pro-max-cli cd /path/to/your/project uipro init --ai claude # Claude Code uipro init --ai cursor # CursorGlobal install
Install the skill for all projects instead of one.
bashuipro init --ai claude --global # Install to ~/.claude/skills/Check Python
Python 3.x is required for the search script. Verify it is installed.
bashpython3 --version
Examples
Auto-activated skill prompt
PromptBuild a landing page for my SaaS productExpected output: In skill mode (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) the skill activates automatically on UI/UX requests.
Slash command in workflow mode
Prompt/ui-ux-pro-max Build a landing page for my SaaS productExpected output: For Kiro, GitHub Copilot, Roo Code and KiloCode, invoke the skill with the slash command.
Generate a design system from the CLI

Domain-specific search
bashpython3 .claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "glassmorphism" --domain styleWhat it does: Searches a single domain (style here); other documented domains include typography, chart, ux and icons.
Markdown design system output
bashpython3 .claude/skills/ui-ux-pro-max/scripts/search.py "fintech banking" --design-system -f markdownWhat it does: Generates the design system in Markdown format instead of ASCII.
